About Parent Organization - Rayat Shikshan Sanstha​

Rayat Shikshan Sanstha is one of the largest educational organizations in India. It was founded by legendary social reformer and educationist Karmaveer Bhaurao Patil in 1919. His aim was to provide education to students who were deprived of it due to caste, religion, and economic status. The organization has its’ headquarter in Satara, Maharashtra. Today the Rayat Shikshan Sanstha has more than 750 institutions comprising of Colleges, Schools, Hostels, Ashramshalas and ancillary units operating across 14 districts of Maharashtra and 1 district of Karnataka. The plethora of the organization is manned by around 20,000 teaching and non-teaching staff who take the responsibility of education of 5 lakh students. Karmaveer Bhaurao Patil pioneered “Earn & Learn” model of education where students earned their living along with their education. People honoured Bhaurao Patil with the sobriquet Karmaveer (King of actions) and the Government of India conferred him with PadmaBhushan in 1959.
